Quoting a configured product
A line for a configurable product is sold as its configuration: a quotation becomes an order only when every such line has a finished one.
On a quotation’s Lines tab, a line for a configurable product (a TG310, say) carries a Configuration. Edit the line and press Configure to answer the model’s questions; the Configuration column then lists the answers.
- “Not configured yet — edit the line and press Configure”: the line has no configuration.
- “Not finished — press Configure”: some answers are missing or break one of the model’s rules.
Accept → order turns the quotation into a confirmed sales order. It refuses while any line says either of those, naming the line, so an order is never raised for a product nobody has specified. There is no separate Confirm on a quotation: Send gives it to the customer, and Accept → order confirms it.
