How the navigation is organized
Modules, groups, sections and tiles — why the platform is arranged this way, and what to do when you cannot find something.
The navigation has four levels, and knowing which level you are looking at is most of knowing where you are.

Accounting carries 27 sections; a flat run of 27 headings is not readable, so its sections are gathered into groups — Ledger, Working Capital, Group, Recognition, Close and Compliance, and so on. Smaller modules are left flat deliberately: a group level over four sections adds a click and explains nothing.
Why a screen might not be where you expect
- It belongs to another module. Cross-functional work is filed under the module that owns the records, not the one that started the process. A supplier invoice is Accounting even though the purchase order that led to it is Supply Chain.
- Your roles do not reach it. A screen you are not entitled to is not greyed out, it is absent — including its tile, its search result and its report cube.
- It is an administrator screen. Users, roles, credentials and connectors live under Platform, and are only drawn for somebody holding the admin role.
- It has no tile. A few screens are reached from the record they belong to rather than from a shelf. They still have an address, still appear in search, and are listed here under "Reachable by link" on their module page.
Saved views
A saved view remembers a list exactly as you left it: the search words, the filter conditions, the sort, the visible columns and, on a report, the whole arrangement of rows, columns and figures. A view can be private or shared with the company, and one of them can be the view that opens by default.
A saved view is somebody’s question written down. That is why the words typed into the search box are saved with it and not treated as a transient — reopening a view that has lost its search term answers a different question from the one that was saved.
Getting back
Screens that open from another screen remember where you came from and return you there, with the list still narrowed the way you left it. This matters most on drill-downs: a figure on a report opens the records behind it, and going back returns to the report as it was arranged, not to its default.
