Bank Aggregators
The subscription that reaches banks on this company’s behalf — Plaid, Tink, TrueLayer or Salt Edge. Put the client id and secret here and the aggregator becomes the default route in Connect a Bank; the secret is sealed on the way in and never comes back out. Without a row here the platform uses its own sandbox and says so on every screen.

The form
What is asked for when a record is created here. Required fields are marked; a choice drawn from a configuration list is one an administrator can extend without a release.
| Field | Type | Choices | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Subscription name required | Text | What to call it here, e.g. "Plaid production". | |
| Service required | Choice | plaid, tink, truelayer, saltedge, sandbox | "sandbox" is this platform’s own and needs no account. |
| Environment required | Choice | sandbox, development, production | Plaid issues a DIFFERENT secret per environment. A sandbox secret sent to production comes back INVALID_API_KEYS, which is worth recognising. |
| Client id | Text | ||
| Redirect URI | Text | Where the bank sends the browser back to, and it must match a URI registered in the service’s own dashboard character for character. Required for Chase, Bank of America, Capital One and every other bank reached over OAuth — without it those banks refuse the link, while a smaller one still connects. This console’s address followed by /accounting/connect-a-bank. | |
| API endpoint | Text | Leave empty to use the service’s own address for the environment above. | |
| Allowed to read | Text | balances, transactions. Read-only by default and deliberately. | |
| Countries | Text | ISO 3166 alpha-2. | |
| Use this one | Yes or no | ||
| Active | Yes or no |
What you can do here
Set the client secret
Asks for confirmation: The secret is sealed and cannot be read back afterwards.
Asks for: Client secret*
Test the subscription
Test a link end to end
Asks for confirmation: This runs a complete link against the service’s own test bank — link, exchange and accounts — and then throws the token away. Nothing is connected and nothing is written.

The rules that apply here
Everything on this screen obeys the platform rules rather than rules of its own. The ones worth knowing before you use it:
- Narrowing a list — search, conditions, sort, totals, export and saved views.
- What may be changed — the five grounds a record may not be edited on.
- Companies and business units — what the switcher above this list is doing to it.
- Creating a record — required fields, where choices come from, and how the number is allocated.
- Importing a spreadsheet — this screen accepts one, and it runs through the same rules as typing.
