Assets to Capitalise
What was bought as capital and has arrived, waiting to go on the register. A goods receipt drafts one asset per unit when the item is marked Capitalizable on its costing, or when it was ordered from a Capital equipment requisition. Capitalising one takes it out of stock, posts it to its class’s asset account and starts its depreciation.

The rules that apply here
Everything on this screen obeys the platform rules rather than rules of its own. The ones worth knowing before you use it:
- Narrowing a list — search, conditions, sort, totals, export and saved views.
- What may be changed — the five grounds a record may not be edited on.
- Companies and business units — what the switcher above this list is doing to it.
