CRM › Utilities, a customer information system for utilities and local government; Run MRP on a sales order from CRM; pop-ups that maximize and resize; and two fixes for phones and the line grid.
Release 20261017 added the following.
CRM › Utilities
- A new CRM group for a utility or a city: service accounts, premises and service agreements; meters, IoT devices and alarms, reads from every source, AMR files and read exceptions; rate plans with blocks, seasons, fees and minimum bills; bill runs from preview to the receivable; the cashier’s counter with supervisor approvals; online payments, lockbox files, autopay and refunds; collections with notices, late fees, arrangements, disconnects and write-offs; field service orders; and the Utilities Dashboard and Account 360. See CRM › Utilities: a customer information system for a utility or a city.
- Switched per company on Platform › Runtime Settings › Utilities (default from TRANXACT_UTILITIES_DEFAULT; on when unset). A bill run is approved by somebody other than who previewed it unless the company allows it.
- Each bill is an AR invoice with its journal; ZATCA and India GST numbering apply as on any invoice. See Bill runs: preview, approve, post, and cancel and rebill.
- IoT meters post signed reads to /api/public/utilities/iot/reads. See IoT meters: registering a device and how it signs its reads.
- Residents start service, report problems and sign up without signing in at /utilities/<COMPANYCODE>, and see, pay and manage their account under My utility account in the customer portal. See For residents: My utility account and the public utility pages.
- Eight roles, from Utility Customer Service to Utility Manager. A life-support account is never disconnected for non-payment.
CRM sales orders
- Run MRP on a sales order’s row, record page and next-step bar: required, available, short, make, buy or subcontract, start-by and needed-by dates, and Firm suggestions to raise the production orders and the requisition linked to the order. Its own grant, Sales Order MRP (Run MRP). See Run MRP on a sales order.
Every screen
- Every pop-up window — record forms, side panels, Run MRP, the product configurator — has Maximize in its title bar (or double-click the title); a maximized form spreads its fields into columns and keeps Save in view. Drag the grip in the bottom corner (or a side panel’s open edge) to resize; double-click the grip for the usual size. The size is remembered for that kind of window. On a phone, Maximize fills the screen and the grip is hidden. The product configurator has its own Maximize next to Model; Esc returns. Small confirmation dialogs have no Maximize. See Maximizing and resizing a pop-up.
- On a phone, a list toolbar’s List / Board / Calendar switch wraps to its own line instead of crowding the toolbar.
- The configurator on a quotation or sales-order line no longer runs off the right edge of the line grid.
