TRANXACT.AI Help

What changed (5 October 2026)

The menu down the left side, a configurable product’s recipe of fixed and variable materials and processes, student bills that follow their invoices, and the fixes behind the week’s tickets.

The menu

  • The modules are in a menu down the left side (the right side in Arabic), each with its icon, with AI Assistant and Raise a Ticket under them and Settings, Help & Support and your account at the foot. The three-line button at its top folds it to icons for the full width of the page. Across the top is still available under Personalize. See How the navigation is organized.
  • Help & Support opens beside the button that opened it, and appears once in the menu.
  • The toolbar above every list groups search, filters and sort on the left and the count, Print and Download on the right; the filters in force are chips underneath, each with its ×, and Clear all.
  • Long forms — New Inspection Plan and any form with many fields — open wider, two fields to a row on a wide screen, with the title and Save always in view.
  • Every success message that names a document number has a Copy button beside it.
  • Talent & Contingent Workforce and Agentic AI have a colour of their own in every theme.
  • The browser’s own page translation no longer breaks a screen; use Personalize › Language for TRANXACT in your language.

Configurable products

  • A model has a recipe: Materials and Processes tabs, each line fixed or only with one option, materials in the unit they are used in, and processes as one operation or a whole routing. Cost, the configured bill of materials and routing, production orders and planning all follow it, in stocking units. See A configurable product’s recipe: fixed and variable materials and processes.
  • A production order made from a configuration asks for its parts in their stocking unit.

Student Lifecycle

  • A student bill follows its invoice in Accounting: cancelling or reversing the invoice cancels the bill and releases its hold; receipts make it Partially paid or Paid. The student’s balance is what is still open, and Student Billing has a Paid column.
  • Charges, Aid and Net due are worked out again whenever a charge line is added, changed or removed, and Issue always invoices what the lines add up to.
  • Choosing a fee on a charge line fills the unit amount, the description and, for a once-a-term fee, a quantity of 1.
  • Register from a student’s record fills in the student.
  • Staffing expense claims and client invoices total their lines in the same way.

HRMS

  • A hiring requisition takes its Grade from the Position, locked; a position with no grade leaves it free.
  • Offboarding through ASK understands how the employment ends from the words used (voluntary and Resigned is a resignation).
  • As at, on Work relationships, goes by each relationship’s start and end dates.
  • Edit on an employee’s record includes Additional information.
  • In the KSA edition, the GOSI subscriber class shows only for Saudi nationals; Iqama fields show for expatriates.
  • The organisation chart scrolls to every edge, with Zoom out, Zoom in and Fit, and its title appears once.

Supply chain, import and administration

  • Requisitions have a For department list with Other — not on the list; the list is kept under Platform › Configuration lists › Departments.
  • Compare offers shows the suppliers side by side, with the criteria down the side.
  • A service receipt needs its supplier.
  • An import with one name column (Applicant_Name, Full name) splits it into first and last name. See Importing.
  • Additional Fields: Save changes on each row, a labelled Show in group, a Display order label, and ticking several rows to change them together with Save all changes.
  • The Module and Screen choosers on Custom Fields and Custom Logic read as a filter bar.
  • Every figure on a dashboard or board is written short — SAR 9.5M, 12.4K, or lakhs and crores where your number format groups that way — including the sales pipeline, pinned lists, what is at stake and the finance tiles. Point at a figure for the exact amount; tables keep exact amounts.
