Configuration

Number ranges and the classification lists that fill dropdowns across the platform — per company, no release needed.

Every module is configurable from Platform → Configuration, per company.

Number ranges

One range per master and transaction document, each set to system generated, manually entered, or either — with a configurable prefix, suffix, digit padding, starting value, minimum and maximum, and an optional annual or monthly reset.

Changing PO to prefix ORD, four digits, suffix /26 produces ORD-0006/26 on the next order. Master data ships as manual entry and transaction data as system generated; either can be changed.

Classification lists

Forty-eight lists across the modules, each with seeded defaults a company can extend, reorder, deactivate or replace: item types and categories, units of measure, payment terms, incoterms, account types, asset classes, tax codes, opportunity stages, case priorities, leave types, earning and deduction types, work-centre types, inspection dispositions, scrap reasons, specimen types, allergy severities, medication routes, encounter types and more.

Business forms read these lists directly. A field declares which list it draws from, and a value an administrator adds appears in the module screens with no code change. Deactivating a value hides it from new entries while leaving existing records intact — which is the right behaviour, because the records that used it are history and history does not change.

If somebody asks for "a new option in a dropdown", this is almost always the answer, and it is a five-minute job rather than a release.
