What the shipped job roles may do

The shipped job roles now include the steps of their job that sit in another module, while still keeping the segregation of duties.

Each shipped role gives display on the modules it names, and add and change only on the screens its job keeps. Some jobs cross into a second module. These roles now include those steps:

• Warehouse: picks, issues and ships a sales order's delivery (Sales & Service: Deliveries, Shipments), and issues materials to a production order (Manufacturing: Material Staging). It still creates no order and changes no price.
• Sales & Service: raises an engineering change request, enters demand forecast lines, picks items on opportunity, quotation and order lines, and keeps a customer site's address.
• Clinician: raises requisitions for the clinic's own supplies.
• Financial Controller: runs revenue recognition and approves payroll runs and expense reports. Paying suppliers stays with Treasury, and the payroll tax run is approved by a payroll or HR person.
• Finance: imports and matches the corporate card feed.
• Accounts Payable: keys and posts the supplier invoices it captured. It pays nothing.
• Recruiter: advertises a job order (job postings and board postings).
• Registrar: files graduation applications and keeps alumni and career records.

A role that an administrator has already edited is left exactly as they left it. Platform > Roles shows the grants of every role.
