A staged migration file, and what comes next
After a file is uploaded (staged), it is checked, then loaded. There is no Confirm step — Check it and Load it are the two.
- Upload the extract in Platform › Legacy Migration › Migration Cockpit (it is staged: kept exactly as it arrived).
- Check the rows: every row is judged against the field map, and the refused ones say why.
- Rehearse the load if you want to see the result without keeping it, then Load them.
The same two steps are on each row of Migration Batches — Check it and Load it — and Open in the cockpit takes you to that object’s step. Migration Objects has Open in the cockpit on every row as well.
If ASK proposes to load a file for you, the change is listed in the ASK panel with its own Confirm button. That button is ASK’s, not the migration screens’.
