Identity verification by country: E-Verify, PAN, Aadhaar, UAN, DigiLocker, Iqama, GOSI, Qiwa and Absher

HRMS › Compliance › Identity Verification › Identity Verifications checks an employee’s identity and right to work with the government service of the company’s country: E-Verify in the United States; PAN, Aadhaar e-KYC or offline XML, UAN and DigiLocker in India; Iqama (Muqeem), GOSI, Qiwa and Absher in Saudi Arabia. Checks run in a sandbox until a live connection is configured.

Another country’s check is refused: “<E-Verify (employment eligibility)> is for companies in <the United States>, and this company is not.”

Running a check

1. Verify an employee: Employee and Check, then what that check needs — PAN (empty: the one on the employee), Aadhaar number (used for this check only, never kept) or Offline XML share code, UAN, DigiLocker document (PANCR, DRVLC, ADHAR, VTRCR, CLASS10, CLASS12, DEGREE), Iqama / national ID — and tick The employee has given consent. For E-Verify after three business days, Why late.
2. The list shows Check, Employee, Kind, Mode (sandbox or live), Case / reference, Last 4, Status, Detail, Due by and Opened.
3. Refresh asks the service for the latest status.

E-Verify cases

• Photo matches / Photo does not match answer a photo-matching step.
• A tentative nonconfirmation: Give the employee the notice, and the Further Action Notice opens. The employee decides in My Workspace › My I-9 — I will take action or I will not take action (“If you do not take action, the mismatch becomes final and your employer may end your employment.”).
• Refer refers a case the employee contests; the agency is contacted within the dates shown.
• Close case with E-Verify’s reason: employment authorized, final nonconfirmation with employment continued or terminated, no action with employment continued or terminated, no longer employed, duplicate, incorrect data or invalid query.

Sandbox and live

• Without a live connection every check runs in the sandbox: the same steps and statuses, with made-up answers. Nothing reaches a government service.
• A live check needs a connection configured under Platform › Connections for that service (EVERIFY, IN-PAN, IN-AADHAAR, IN-EPFO, IN-DIGILOCKER, SA-MUQEEM, SA-GOSI, SA-QIWA, SA-ABSHER), with its credential sealed, reached through the licensed intermediary the connection points at.
• Only references, statuses and the last four digits are kept. An Aadhaar number is never stored, logged or returned.
