Standing instructions: ASK on a schedule
Save an ASK instruction with a schedule (every day, every Monday at 08:00, on the 1st) and ASK runs it for you, as you, and puts the answer in your ASK conversation.
- Open ASK and press Standing at the top of the panel.
- Write the instruction, or keep the last thing you asked, for example: list the purchase orders waiting for my approval.
- Choose every day, every week and the day, or every month and the date (1 to 28), and the time.
- Tick May propose changes only if you want ASK to list changes for you to confirm.
- Press Save. Run now tries it straight away.
- It runs as you: with your roles and permissions, never more, and only while your account is active.
- It runs in the company the instruction was saved in, not your home company.
- It only reads by default. With May propose changes, a change is listed with Confirm the next time you open ASK; nothing is changed until you press it.
- Each answer arrives in your ASK conversation, and a notice tells you it is there.
- Switch off, Switch on and Delete are beside each instruction.
Saving standing instructions needs the ASK Standing Instructions permission (role ASK Standing Instructions). An administrator sees everybody's under Standing, Everyone's, and can switch any of them off; the owner cannot switch back on what an administrator switched off.
