Follow-up sequences

A sequence is a list of timed steps: a task for the owner, or an email to the person, so many days after the start.

  1. Open CRM, Automation, Follow-up Sequences and add one: a code, a name, and the steps in day order, for example [{"day":0,"action":"task","subject":"Call to introduce us"},{"day":3,"action":"email","subject":"Following up","body":"..."}].
  2. Tick Enrol every lead routing hands out to start it for each routed lead, or enrol a lead by hand under Follow-up Enrolments.
  3. The follow-ups job carries out each step when it is due and moves the enrolment on. Set an enrolment to stopped to end it early.

An email step goes out through the company's mail settings. With no mail transport set up, it is held until one is.
