Finding your way around a large organisation chart

Both organisation charts (HRMS Organisation Chart and Platform Organisation Units) have Find, zoom, Fit, an overview map, branch folding and Pop out.

• Find: type a name or a code (an employee number such as <EMP-000021>, or a unit code such as <DEP-QA>) and choose a match. The chart opens any folded branch above it, scrolls it to the middle and outlines it.
• Zoom out and Zoom in draw the chart smaller or larger. Fit draws as much of the chart as can still be read; when the whole chart cannot be read at once it stops at 60% and says so.
• The overview map in the bottom corner shows the whole chart with the part on screen outlined. Click or drag on it to move there.
• Fold a branch with the button on its card (it shows how many are beneath it while folded), or use Expand all and Collapse all.
• Pop out shows the chart over the whole window; press Esc or Close to return. Open in new window opens the chart alone in a window of its own, still signed in.
• Everything you can do on a card in the page works the same when popped out or in its own window: on Organisation Units add (+), Edit and remove (×); on the HRMS chart drag to change a manager.
