Dashboard figures can be up to a minute old

To stop "The system is busy" on ordinary screens, the figures on dashboards (KPI cards, trends, alerts, the pipeline and pinned figures) are shared for 60 seconds. A count on a dashboard may be up to a minute behind the list it opens.

A dashboard figure is now worked out at most once a minute per company and shared by everybody who opens it, and it never takes the connections people’s screens are waiting for. Lists, forms and reports are not affected: they always show what is there now.

• A count on a dashboard can trail the list by up to a minute. Open the list for the exact figure.
• A figure that takes too long is shown as unavailable for a minute, quietly, rather than asked again on every page load.
• A module home asks for its card counts one batch at a time.
• Segregation of Duties (Platform → Access & Security → Access) lists the duty conflicts in well under a second; with thousands of people it used to take half a minute.
• A browser tab you are not looking at stops asking for ASK hand-offs, standing-instruction results and the approvals badge. It catches up when you come back to it.
