My Workspace: doing your own HR yourself
Enter your hours, ask for leave, read your payslips, choose your benefits and keep your details up to date — without HR doing it for you.
Employee Self Service is its own tab. Everybody whose sign-in is linked to an employee record is given the Employee role, which opens it; it does not open HRMS. Everything on it is about you, the person signed in — nothing on it can show you somebody else's records.
- Open Employee Self Service. My Workspace shows a card for each area with what is waiting: open timesheets, leave left, your last payslip, changes waiting for HR.
- Press a card to open it. Every page has a link back to My Workspace at the top.
- If the workspace says your sign-in is not linked to an employee, ask HR to set the User field on your employee record.
- My time — open a timesheet for a period, add hours or a clock in and out, and send it to your manager.
- My leave — balances, asking for leave, and withdrawing a request still waiting.
- My pay — your payslips line by line, and as a PDF.
- My benefits — your cover, choosing it during open enrollment or after a life event.
- My details — address, phone, emergency contact and bank account.
- My dependents — the people your cover can include.
- My documents — HR documents on file, and sending the ones HR asks for.
- My onboarding — the tasks that are yours before and after you start.
- Leaving — giving notice, your offboarding checklist, final settlement and the exit interview.
Your manager sees what you send them to decide — a timesheet, leave, your notice. They never see your exit interview answers.
