What happens when you press Confirm in Ask
When Ask lists a change and you press Confirm, the change is made straight away, exactly as it was listed, and Ask tells you what happened: Done with the document number, or Not done with the reason the platform gave.
Ask never changes anything until you agree. It lists each change it would make, in plain words, with a Confirm button. Pressing Confirm (or answering a plain yes) makes those changes at once, in the order they were listed, with the values you were shown, and with your own permissions.
- The answer starts with one line per change: Done, with the document number it made or changed (for example Done: Create a new requisition — REQ-000016), or Not done, with the reason the platform gave (for example Not done: Order the requisition — the requisition has already become a purchase order).
- A change that was not done stays not done. Ask does not say a change was made unless the platform made it, and it does not ask you to press Confirm a second time for the same thing.
- Several changes listed together are made together. When the second one belongs to a record the first one creates (a requisition, then its lines), Ask puts it on the new record.
- If an answer says something was done while nothing was changed and nothing is waiting for your Confirm, Ask adds a note saying so.
Your role still decides what Ask can do. If your role cannot make a change, Ask says which permission on which screen is missing (for example the Add permission on Supply Chain, Requisitions) and which roles hold it, and it shows no Confirm.
