Lead routing, case assignment and field dispatch
A new lead, case or field work order with nobody on it is assigned the moment it is saved, by the rule's strategy.
- Lead routing: round robin (in turn), territory (the team whose territory covers the lead's country or state) or load (whoever has the fewest open leads), among the members of the sales team named in the rule's settings, for example {"teamCode": "EAST"}. The owner gets a follow-up task.
- Case assignment: in turn or by load, among the members of the team or the holders of the role in the rule's settings ({"roleCode": "sales"} by default).
- Field dispatch: an open work order goes to an available technician with the skill it names (Skill needed on the work order), covering the customer's country, with room in the day. The least busy one is chosen and the visit is scheduled for the next morning unless it already has a time.
- Record who can do what under CRM, Automation, Technician Skills: the technician, the skill, the countries (blank is anywhere) and visits a day.
- Anything missed when it was saved is picked up by the rule's job on its schedule.
