Changing your details and your bank account

Which changes apply at once, which wait for HR, and how your account number is protected.

• Phone, personal email and emergency contact change at once, and are still recorded as a request with its trail.
• Home address waits for HR, because it can change your tax.
• Bank account waits for HR. Your pay keeps going to the old account until they approve the new one.

The account number is typed once into a masked field and sealed on the server. Only its last four digits are ever shown again — to you, to HR and in the audit trail.
