From the paper back to the record: Document Retrieval
Scan the QR code on a printed material document to see what it moved, open the document itself and read what is attached to it.
Every material document the warehouse prints carries its own number as a QR code and a barcode. Supply Chain → Warehouse → Goods Movement → Document Retrieval reads either — scan it, or type the number — and shows the document.
- What it is and when: the kind of movement, its number, the document and posting dates.
- What it was against: the reference, the purchase order, the vendor and its name, and who posted it.
- Every line: the material, the quantity and unit, where it came from and went, and the material’s barcode.
- View document (PDF) opens the document as it was printed; Print prints it again.
- Attachments lists what is attached to the movement — a certificate of analysis, a safety data sheet, the delivery note — and opens each in place.
Typed a purchase order or a delivery note number instead? The documents posted against it are listed; choose one.
Who may: display on Document Retrieval, under Supply Chain on the Roles screen. The warehouse roles have it.
