Configuring every line of a new quotation or sales order

On a new quotation or sales order, every line of a configurable product has its own Configure under it. Two TG310s and a spare can go on one quotation, each TG310 configured on its own line.

1. CRM → Order to Cash → Selling → Quotations (or Sales Orders) → New.
2. Add a line and choose the item. A configurable product shows its configuration under the line, the width of the grid: choose an existing configuration or press Configure to make one. A standard item’s line shows nothing extra.
3. The configuration fills the line’s description and price.
4. Add the next line the same way. Each configurable line takes its own configuration.

• One configuration is sold on one line: the same configuration on two lines of a new document is refused. A copied line of a configurable product is configured afresh.
• Accept → order carries each line’s configuration to the sales order, and the works orders are made per configuration.
• A delivery ships the item each configuration was made into, not the configurable product itself.
